AridDek

Way back in 2001, Wahoo Docks engineered AridDek as the perfect complement to its maintenance-free boat docks. AridDek is a long-lasting, maintenance-free decking that can withstand some of nature's harshest conditions while providing safety and durability every step of the way.

Benefits

• Easy to Clean: All it needs is a periodic soap and water bath. *As with any coating, do not pressure wash.
• Stable: Does not materially degrade, even with extensive exposure to sunlight and water.
• Maintenance–Free: Finish will never need to be sealed, stained, or waterproofed.
• Lightweight: Ideal for upper deck applications or free-spanning gangways.
• Slip–Resistant: Due to its ribbed texture and granular coating.
• Long–Lasting: Impervious to insect damage, rot, and other types of decay.
• Cool to the Touch: Due to its high thermal conductivity and light color options, it naturally stays cooler than composite, concrete, or wood decking materials.

Specifications

• Colors: Sandstone, Granite, Artisan Clay.
• Composition: 6005-T5 Marine Grade Aluminum.
• Finish: Slip-resistant powder-coated finish.
• Outdoor Exposure: Meets AAMA-2603 Voluntary Specifications - suitable for long-term exposure in harsh conditions, naturally UV-resistant.
• Mar–Resistant: Suitable for use with all types of outdoor furniture, grills, and accessories.
• Strength: 100+ lb/ft² on 24" spans (tested to 400 lb/ft²)

Ipe

Also known as Ironwood or Brazilian Walnut, Ipe is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot and decay and is 8x harder than California Redwood.

Benefits

• Easy to Clean: All it needs is a periodic soap and water bath. *Pressure wash not recommended.
• Beautiful: Ipe is considered by many to be the most naturally attractive wood dock decking available.
• Durable: Up to 3 times harder than Red Oak and 8 times harder than California Redwood.
• Long–Lasting: Naturally resistant to insect damage, rot, mold and other types of decay. Never requires painting, sealing, or waterproofing.
• High Load–Bearing Capacity: High tensile strength and screw pull-through resistance.
• Longevity: Will remain smooth and splinter free for many years.

Specifications

• Grade: Select Grade. All heart wood, no sap.
• Appearance: Smooth surface with minimal splinters and surface checking. Comes in a deep red-brown, but weathers to a silver patina, much like Teak.
• Maintenance: No sealing required. Periodic water bath is all that Ipe needs.
• Fire Rating: Class A Flame Spread Rating, the same as is given to concrete and steel.

TimberTech XLM

XLM is a premium PVC decking plank, engineered for maximum scratch, mildew, and stain resistance with a luxurious appearance. The flat-grain surface makes this PVC decking slip-resistant, and the cellular PVC construction offers a like-new look for years to come.

TimberTech Reliaboard

Reliaboard is a beautiful wood and plastic composite board that combines exceptional quality and price. Not only is Reliaboard the most cost-efficient decking Wahoo Docks offers, it is also extremely durable and moderately long-lasting. As with all of our decking options, Reliaboard never requires sealing or staining and will not split, splinter, or rot.

TimberTech Earthwood Evolutions

The TimberTech Earthwood Evolutions series of lumber is the latest trend in composite decking. It features a solid plastic cap along the surface, which dramatically enhances the longevity of the board. With a composite interior to reduce cost, it offers a good balance of weathering deterrence at an economical price.

• Colors: Pacific Teak, Pacific Rosewood.
• Vertigrain Surface Pattern: The vertigrain surface makes it quick and easy to clean with soap and water.
• Limited Warranty: 25-Year Stain and Fade Warranty.

Concrete

Concrete pavers come in 2' x 2' squares and are reinforced with rebar, wire mesh, or fiberglass, depending on the application. Concrete is extremely durable, but its high heat absorption makes it mainly suitable for commercial applications.

Attributes

• Stable: Does not materially degrade even with extensive exposure to sunlight and water.
• Heavy: The most suitable material for heavy water conditions.
• Easily Removed: Allows easy conduit access to the dock structure (applicable to large, commercial docks).
• Mechanically Strong: Can be tailored in thickness and reinforcement to handle very heavy loads.
• Long–Lasting: Impervious to insect damage, rot, and other types of decay common with decking composed of organic materials.
